About Us

A lively dance event at the Elks Lodge with guests in formal attire.

At 905 E Kansas Plaza, the Garden City Elks Lodge has been the kind of place where grandmothers bring their grandkids to bingo and those same kids grow up to throw their graduation parties here. That continuity is not an accident. It is what happens when a community organization actually shows up, year after year, for the people who live here.

The Lodge's event spaces are a genuine bargain for what you get. Families who have rented rooms for baby showers, birthday parties, and milestone celebrations consistently point to the pricing as a standout, especially compared to commercial venues that charge twice as much for half the charm. The staff and bartenders earn praise by name, and management keeps the experience consistent enough that first-time guests come back as regulars.

The Elks Lodge is also part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a national fraternal organization with deep roots in civic service and community giving. Membership opens doors to a network of fellow members across the country, charitable programs, and local initiatives that put real resources back into Garden City, KS.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers affordable venue rentals for private events of all sizes. Baby showers, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, and corporate gatherings all fit comfortably here, with tables, chairs, and supplies included so you are not scrambling to rent equipment from three different places.

Beyond private events, the Lodge runs regular bingo nights that have been a fixture for local families for decades. The full-service bar is staffed by bartenders known for being fast and genuinely friendly, whether you are celebrating a milestone or just stopping in for a weeknight drink with fellow members.

Elks membership itself is a service worth considering. Members gain access to Lodge facilities, participate in community charity programs, and connect with a national network of more than 800,000 members. If you are new to Garden City or simply looking for a community anchor, this is a practical and rewarding place to plant roots.

"Now this place is a part of my childhood. My grandma would always take me to play bingo here. Sometimes my friends would even have parties here. Two of them had their high school graduation party here so that was fun. There was even a volunteer group from the high school doing a type of rummage sale I helped out with once and apparently elks lodge often does things like that. So cool."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
